Join us on the beautiful island, Madeira, in Portugal for the Aquaculture Europe 2021 Conference!
The Programme Grid of our AE2021 event from October 4-7 is now online.
The Grid provides an overview of the sessions over the 3 conference days.
A more detailed programme with individual presentation titles will be published just before the event.
You can register online now and have the Early Bird registration rate if you register before July 15.
You can also benefit from lower registration fees as an EAS member. Join EAS directly here or with your AE2021 registration.
The first RAS@EAS Workshop has been organised prior to the Aquaculture Europe 2020 Online event. Our presenters Dr. Øyvind Fylling-Jensen (NOFIMA), Dr. Jelena Kolarevic(NOFIMA/UiT), and Damien Toner (BIM) presented the main outcomes of this event in our EAStalk Webinar.
The recent announcement by the President of the Regional Government of Madeira that events can now take place on the island with 50% seating capacity came as good news to the EAS Board of Directors. Having also filed a formal request to the Madeiran Health Authority, we strongly believe that whatever the final format and capacity, the event can go ahead in Funchal.
We have also decided to extend the deadline for abstract submission for oral-requested presentations to May 15 to give more time following our recent AE2020 ONLINE event for people to submit. The new deadline is, however, a strict one and abstracts submitted later than this date will have significantly less chance of being accepted for oral presentation and will be assigned as Eposters in sessions that have reached their capacity. The deadline for submitting abstracts for Eposter presentation remains as August 28.
So it’s full steam ahead and look forward to seeing you in Funchal in October!
