John Williamson is a fish nutritionist and has worked within the global aquaculture feed sector for more than 30 years. He is an innovative and strategic thinker with extensive experience in aquaculture feed formulation, product management and feed manufacturing. His current and main area of interest is identifying and developing the value proposition for novel and functional ingredients that can make a difference to aquaculture.
With an anticipated 9 billion people expected to inhabit the planet by 2050, the demand for animal protein is expected to increase by more than 50%.
