EAS and WAS are positioned as "Associates" to enhance the benefits available to the membership of each society, enable the cooperative exchange of publications, and to broaden the exchange of information within the general aquaculture community. WAS recognises that EAS is its partner in Europe [European Union and affiliated countries]. EAS members can receive the WAS members magazine "World Aquaculture" at a special discounted rate.

Memorandum of Understanding with The European Association for Animal Production (EAAP):
EAS and EAAP recognise a common interest in knowledge promotion regarding animal production, both in the aquatic (EAS) and terrestrial (EAAP) environment. Therefore, both societies see ample opportunities for the organisation of joint symposia, conference sessions and/or workshops.

Memorandum of Understanding with The International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies (CIHEAM):
The CIHEAM provides additional, economic and technical training and to promote the spirit of international co-operation between supervisors in the area of agriculture in the Mediterranean countries.

Memorandum of Understanding with the Aquacultural Engineering Society:
AES serves as a united voice for aquacultural engineering in the general aquacultural community and provides an engineering perspective to the problems and proposed solutions to these problems. AES serves as an authoritative source of information on aquacultural engineering and provides engineering support to initiatives from or for the aquaculture industry. AES and EAS will cooperate on matters of common interest in aquaculture - especially relating to recirculation and 'zero discharge' systems - and including the organisation of specific sessions or workshops at our 'Aquaculture Europe' meetings. |

Memorandum of Understanding with The International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES) :
EAS and ICES recognise a common interest in knowledge promotion regarding aquaculture and fisheries. This MoU includes better relationships regarding regular exchange of information, documentation and publications, as well as working together – notably through the Councils’ mariculture working group – to increase the importance of aquaculture within the ICES community.

Memorandum of Understanding with The European Network for Training and Technology Transfer in Aquaculture (AquaTT):
AquaTT, is a non-profit organisation co-ordinating projects and initiatives in the areas of education, training and technology transfer in aquaculture. Through its co-ordination and involvement in EU-funded education and mobility programmes, AquaTT is ideally placed to facilitate student activities throughout Europe and beyond. Furthermore, AquaTT welcomes support and collaboration from organisations interested in European aquaculture education and training.
This agreement covers the organisation of student activities within the Aquaculture Europe meetings of EAS, or other meetings or forums. |
Memorandum of Understanding with The World Sturgeon Conservation Society (WSCS) :
The World Sturgeon Conservation Society fosters the conservation of sturgeon species and restoration of sturgeon stocks worldwide. EAS and WSCS will work together on common interests, notably endangered species such as sturgeons and the environmental issues associated with and supported by aquaculture activities (e.g. ranching, re-stocking in lakes, reservoirs, rivers and seas; genetic interactions between wild and cultured fish; genetic conservation of natural populations through aquaculture).

Memorandum of Understanding with the Spanish Aquaculture Society (SEA)
|
La Sociedad Española de Acuicultura (SEA) brings together all those interested in the development of aquaculture in Spain. EAS and SEA have signed an agreement that will promote the exchange of information, through article exchange in our Aquaculture Europe magazine and the SEA publication, 'Aquatic', as well as benefits for members of both societies for meetings or events organised in Spain - notably the aquaculture Europe meetings of EAS and the Congreso Nacional de Acuicultura, organised by SEA. |
