National Coordinators

National Coordinators (NCs) are dedicated students or recent graduates who serve as the primary point of contact for EAS-SG in their respective countries. As ambassadors of aquaculture education and research, they play a crucial role in enhancing the visibility and reach of EAS-SG by:

  • Boosting Participation: NCs actively engage with students in their country, encouraging them to join EAS-SG and participate in various events, workshops, and conferences.
  • Sharing Valuable Information: They regularly disseminate information on relevant courses, job opportunities, internships, and research projects, ensuring that students have access to the latest resources in the field of aquaculture.
  • Providing Support: NCs are available to assist students who are interested in studying or working in their country, offering guidance on academic programs, local research institutions, and potential career paths.
  • Fostering Connections: By facilitating networking among students, researchers, and professionals, NCs help build a strong community of young aquaculture enthusiasts, both within their country and internationally.

If you're passionate about promoting aquaculture and supporting your fellow students, consider becoming a National Coordinator. It’s a rewarding opportunity to make a difference and contribute to the growth of the global aquaculture community.
