BlueInvest aims to boost innovation and investment in sustainable technologies for the blue economy, by supporting readiness and access to finance for early-stage businesses, SMEs and scale-ups. It is enabled by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund. The 2020 Blue Economy Window – BlueInvest Grants call is open from 12 November until 16 February 2021. With an available budget of €20 million, the call aims at:

- Bringing to market new products, services, processes, and business models in blue economy value chains and help advance their market-readiness;
- Developing sustainable and innovative blue economy in Europe's sea basins;
- De-risking investment in these projects to facilitate their access to other financing schemes for the next stages of their activities.

This call presents funding opportunities for SMEs across the European Union. You can get up to 70% co-funding for your project with an average EU contribution between between € 700,000 and € 2.5 million. See more at Blue Economy Window Call 2020
