As many EAS members will remember, we presented a special gift to Linda Aspeslagh at our Aquaculture Europe 2022 event in Rimini last October – it being the last AE event that Linda would be participating at before her retirement. Linda started working for EAS in 1984 and she will retire on June 30th after 39 years of dedicated service. We will indeed be sad to see Linda leave.
During this month, she is transferring her extensive knowledge and experience to Ilse Craeynest, who will officially take over from her from July 1st.
Ilse has more than 20 years’ experience in management assistance for smaller companies – in administration, finances, project and event management, IT and digital marketing. She has her own consulting company and will therefore work for EAS under a service contract on a part time basis.
She is a pescatarian and passionate about the sustainability of aquatic resources. Being very eager to learn more about aquaculture and meet our members, she will join Ana and Alistair at our AE2023 event in Vienna.
